When the constables intervened, the father and son duo of Srinivasalu Bhovi (60) and Harihant (32) asked the cops to mind their business and tried to push them out of the way. The lady who was being abused told the cops that she was being physically beaten up over trivial reasons ever since she married Harihant. When the constables alerted sub inspector Paul, he rushed to the place with another constable. However, the duo continued to behave the same way even with the senior cop and also grabbed his uniform to push him away.
