M Singh (30) who runs the Puma factory outlet in Doddakannelli on Sarjapur Road has complained that his store manager allegedly cheated him to the tune of Rs 36 lakh.
The alleged fraud happened between November 21 and December 12, 2019, according to Singh, a resident of Indiranagar. The accused is Mansoor, a resident of Begur Road in Bommanahalli.
According to the complaint, the accused misused the company’s stock worth Rs 36,00,845 and profited from it without the company’s knowledge. When this fraud was brought to the notice of the accused, he is supposed to have quit the firm. To bring him to justice and recover the diverted funds, the store owner has gone to the cops.
The Bellandur police have filed a case of cheating and criminal breach of trust, and are investigating.
